Job description

This is a remote position.

About the Company

Our client is an innovative healthcare organization focused on helping patients and families navigate advanced health solutions through personalized programs and cutting-edge technology.

The team is dedicated to creating meaningful patient experiences while connecting qualified individuals with specialists who can help them explore the right next steps for their health journey.

As the company continues to grow, they are looking for compassionate, motivated sales professionals who can create trust, educate prospects, and help qualified patients take the next step.

About the Role

We are seeking an Appointment Setter (SDR) to join the Patient Enrollment Team and help turn qualified interest into committed consultations.

This is not a basic scheduling position.

You will act as a sales-minded pre-closer, responsible for responding to inbound and outbound leads, building rapport, understanding basic qualification criteria, creating value around the consultation, and scheduling qualified patients with a Sales Closer.

You will speak with patients, spouses, adult children, caregivers, and other decision-makers who may be navigating complex and emotional health situations.

The ideal candidate combines sales drive with genuine empathy. You should be comfortable having meaningful phone conversations, asking thoughtful questions, handling objections, following a proven process, and confidently asking for the appointment.

You will be measured by both appointment volume and appointment quality. Booking appointments is only part of the job—the goal is to create qualified, committed patients who are prepared for a productive conversation with the closer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond quickly to new inbound leads and assigned outbound opportunities through phone, text, email, and other approved channels.
  • Follow the company's established lead-contact and follow-up process consistently.
  • Build rapport with patients, caregivers, spouses, adult children, and other decision-makers.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand the prospect's needs, concerns, goals, and readiness for the next step.
  • Confirm approved qualification criteria before scheduling a consultation.
  • Explain the purpose and value of the consultation clearly so prospects understand what to expect.
  • Create excitement and commitment around the next conversation without using pressure or making medical promises.
  • Encourage appropriate decision-makers, such as spouses or caregivers, to participate in the consultation.
  • Handle common objections related to scheduling, timing, and the consultation process using approved language.
  • Ask confidently for a firm date and time commitment.
  • Use closer calendars efficiently and prioritize appropriate same-day or next-day opportunities when available.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects who have expressed interest but have not yet booked.
  • Document every interaction accurately in GoHighLevel (GHL).
  • Maintain accurate pipeline stages, dispositions, notes, appointment details, tasks, lead sources, and setter attribution.
  • Maintain a high level of CRM accuracy and promptly resolve QA or AI-generated exceptions.
  • Communicate lead-quality insights, patient feedback, technical issues, and recurring objections to your CSM or Team Lead.
  • Participate in coaching, role-play, call reviews, script training, and team meetings.
  • Apply coaching feedback quickly and continuously improve your performance.
  • Coordinate with reschedulers, QA, Sales Closers, Marketing, and other team members to ensure qualified opportunities are not lost.

Requirements

  1. At least 2 years of experience in appointment setting, SDR, inside sales, call-center sales, patient coordination, customer service, or another phone-based sales role.
  2. Strong spoken and written English with clear, warm, confident, and professional communication.
  3. Comfortable having meaningful phone conversations and building rapport quickly.
  4. Ability to follow a proven script while keeping conversations natural and personalized.
  5. Comfortable asking qualification questions, handling objections, and confidently requesting an appointment commitment.
  6. Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
  7. Experience working with CRM systems.
  8. Comfortable learning and using tools such as GoHighLevel, Kixie, Zoom, Slack, spreadsheets, and AI-powered coaching tools.
  9. Comfortable working in a KPI-driven environment where performance, activity, quality, and conversion are measured.
  10. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate CRM records.
  11. Ability to work independently from a private, quiet, professional remote environment with reliable high-speed internet.
  12. Availability for a staggered five-day schedule with assigned weekend coverage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in high-ticket, consultative, healthcare, wellness, or direct-to-consumer sales.
  • Experience speaking with older adults, patients, caregivers, spouses, or families dealing with sensitive health concerns.
  • Experience with GoHighLevel, Kixie, or comparable CRM and power-dialer platforms.
  • Experience working in a remote, KPI-driven sales organization.
  • Experience with call recording, call scoring, AI-powered coaching, or quality-assurance systems.

Benefits

  • $1,200/month base compensation + commission
  • $50 per Detect Kit sold from eligible setter-attributed appointments.
  • Fully remote position.
  • Full-time schedule supporting department coverage Monday through Sunday.
  • Staggered five-day workweek with planned rest days and assigned weekend coverage.
  • Performance-driven environment with clear KPIs and opportunities to grow with the team.
  • All commissions are subject to the company's attribution, payment, refund, cancellation, and CRM policies.
