Working Hours & Conditions : NZ Hours and Holidays

Employment : Independent Contractor

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for someone who can help turn product vision, customer feedback, and roadmap priorities into clear, delivery-ready work packages for an AI-first product team.

This person should not be a traditional project manager who only tracks tasks. They need to understand product delivery, sprint planning, acceptance criteria, release management, documentation, and how to prepare work so that AI-assisted developers and QA resources can execute effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support product planning and sprint preparation.
  • Convert product ideas into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Help maintain roadmap discipline.
  • Coordinate sprint goals, release scope, and delivery status.
  •  Work with leadership, developers, QA, and customer-facing teams.
  • Maintain delivery documentation.
  • Prepare release notes and internal enablement material.
  • Capture customer feedback and convert it into structured product inputs.
  • Help ensure work is ready for AI-assisted development.
  • Track delivery risks, dependencies, and blockers.
  • Support weekly sprint cadence and release governance.

Requirements

  • Product operations, product management, business analysis, or project delivery experience.
  • Experience working with software development teams.
  • Strong ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong organisational discipline.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Understanding of SaaS product delivery.
  • Comfortable working in an AI-first environment.

Preferred experience

  • CRM, BI, SaaS, or workflow product experience.
  • Agile delivery.
  • Jira or similar delivery tools.
  • Product documentation.
  • Release management.
  • Customer feedback management.
  • AI tools for requirements, documentation, planning, and QA preparation.
  • Experience supporting early-stage product teams.
