Job description

This is a remote position.


 Standard Role Summary

Assist the Assistant Manager Production (AMP) in the effective operational delivery of the ship’s stage / sound and / or lighting systems and events, providing support to the overall success of the entertainment production. 

Primary Responsibility of the Role 

Assist with the provision of technical support for shows, deck activities, talks and other events. Assist with building scenery, operating follow spots and operation and set-up of technical equipment as directed 

Follow instructions and work schedules and ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with all current safety and company regulations. Complete accurate maintenance and equipment records and comply with the cleaning and maintenance schedule for the department. 

Assist with the regular loading and off-loading of entertainment items to and from the ship and carry out any other ad hoc duties as requested by the Assistant Manager Production and the Production Manager. 

Working with the AMP’s to develop specialist skills in sound, lighting or stage. Work as part of a production sub-department to ensure ship wide coverage of own specialist area, while still keeping an overview of all entertainment elements. Support AMP’s in conducting their duties, and support other team members as required.
