In addition, this role will have a specialized area of focus in global Time Tracking and Absence. The role requires strong collaboration with stakeholders in all parts of the company, but particularly with the IT and global HR Teams; bridging the gaps between the business and technology.

    • Develop and implement related processes and procedures, including those for data entry, data flow, and exchanges with other computer systems
    • Configure Workday modules (Absence and Time Tracking), related business processes, and establish appropriate security roles to meet evolving business needs
    • Ensure configured processes and integrations advance and maintain the integrity of employee data across HR systems and across the business
    • Interface with IT personnel on system projects and initiatives and coordinate with HR management
    • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, working closely with HRIS colleagues, IT, and external vendors as needed
    • Monitor and maintain data integrity, including performing audits and resolving discrepancies
    • Manage confidentiality of data by following established security/confidentiality standards
    • Prepare and conduct testing for implementing new functionality and enhancements; collaborating with stakeholders to review and develop test specifications
    • Participate in the planning and testing of regular system upgrades and patches
    • Research automation options within existing or new systems and presents management with recommendations
    • Create procedural documentation, including training materials or process documentation

What you need to be successful in this role:

    • Five+ years of prior experience working as a Sr. HRIS analyst or equivalent, with advanced experience in Workday Time Tracking and Absence modules. Prior implementation experience is highly desired
    • Experience of working for a global company and familiarity with a wide range of differing legislative requirements in the Time and Absence modules of Workday
    • Thorough understanding of SOX compliance and audit requirements related to HRIS functions
    • Proven ability to learn on the fly and maintain composure in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
    • Strong team orientation and collaborative style
    • Excellent process management, planning, and organizational skills
    • Resilient, and determined to ensure projects and deliverables are achieved
    • A commitment to excellence, and attention to detail
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to effectively communicate highly technical concepts to both technical and non-technical personnel in a diverse and multi-lingual company
    • Deep understanding of human resources business processes, the automation of such processes, and their role in the overall financial controls of a publicly traded company
    • Demonstrated ability to work professionally; to uphold confidentiality and manage sensitive situations with tact
    • Ability to work independently with general direction
    • Possess a proactive enthusiasm for solving problems and adding value to the company
