Job description

About Freehand

Most AI companies are building tools. We're building the worker.

Freehand's AI agents replace the human decision-making and coordination layer that sits above enterprise software — handling the analysis, negotiation, prioritization, and execution that previously required armies of logisticians / supply chain professionals.

Our customers include Apple, Meta, GE, Pfizer, J&J, Schlumberger, Cardinal Health, and Unilever. They chose us because we have a fundamentally different answer to what enterprise software looks like when AI can do the job.

If you want to work on something that matters, with people who will push you to be sharper than you thought you could be, this is the place.

The Role & The Team
This is a foundational growth hire. You'll be one of the first performance-focused marketers at Freehand, working directly with the founders, sales leadership, and product marketing to build the systems that turn interest into qualified pipeline. Because supply chain and finance leaders at large enterprises are a specific, high-value audience, this isn't a spray-and-pray B2C growth role — it's precision demand generation for a complex, considered enterprise sale, where quality and attribution matter far more than raw volume.

You'll have full ownership of the performance marketing function from day one: channel strategy, budget, experimentation cadence, and reporting. You'll partner closely with content, product marketing, and sales to make sure every dollar spent connects to a pipeline outcome, and with engineering/RevOps to build the tracking and attribution infrastructure a fast-scaling startup needs.

What You'll Own

  • Full-funnel performance strategy — plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across channels (LinkedIn, Google, industry-specific publications/newsletters, ABM platforms) aimed at supply chain, procurement, and finance decision-makers at large enterprises

  • Account-based marketing programs — design and run targeted campaigns against named enterprise accounts and priority verticals (logistics, direct materials, MRO, CPG, pharma), working closely with sales on account selection and messaging

  • Pipeline metrics and attribution — build the dashboards and reporting that connect spend to MQLs, SQLs, pipeline, and closed revenue; own CAC, ROAS, and payback period as core KPIs

  • Experimentation engine — run a continuous test-and-learn program across ad creative, landing pages, offers, and audiences; kill what doesn't work fast, scale what does

  • Website and landing page conversion — partner with design/content to build and iterate on landing pages, forms, and conversion flows optimized for enterprise buyers

  • Event and field marketing support — help drive pipeline around conferences (e.g., Manifest) and other field events through targeted pre/post-event campaigns

  • Marketing ops foundation — stand up and maintain the martech stack (CRM, marketing automation, attribution tooling) needed to scale as the team grows

  • Budget management — manage and forecast paid media budget, reporting regularly on efficiency and ROI to leadership

Who You Are

  • 4–8 years of experience in growth or performance marketing, ideally with B2B/enterprise SaaS and a complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycle

  • Track record of building demand gen or ABM programs from scratch and scaling them with clear pipeline impact

  • Fluent in the full performance marketing toolkit: paid social, paid search, ABM platforms (e.g., 6sense, Demandbase), marketing automation (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), and analytics/attribution tooling

  • Comfortable being hands-on — you'll be building campaigns and dashboards yourself, not just directing an agency, at least in this first phase

  • Strong quantitative instincts: you think in CAC, LTV, funnel conversion rates, and payback periods, and you can defend your budget with data

  • Experience marketing into procurement, supply chain, finance, or other operations-heavy enterprise buyers is a strong plus

  • Excited by the ambiguity of an early-stage, fast-moving startup — you're energized by building process where none exists yet

  • Sharp writer and communicator who can translate a technical, agentic AI product into messaging that resonates with enterprise operators

    Working at Freehand

Series C, ~100 people across the US and India. Big enough to have infrastructure, small enough that your work is visible. We run on five core operating principles; these are not values-on-a-wall, this is the exact philosophy we built our AI agents on :

  • Context Before Confidence. We get in, ask (a ton of) questions, connect the dots ourselves and move fast. No passengers, no hand-holding. The amount of confidence you'll have in Week 1 is directly proportional to the context strive to gain.

  • Decisions, not Recommendations. Freehand folks decide, they don't present options. You'll have real autonomy, and real accountability to match.

  • High Agency, High Trust. We won't manage you closely or ask you to escalate every call. Act, share your reasoning, and course-correct when needed. That's the contract.

  • Accountability is the Product. When something goes wrong — and it will — we name it, learn from it, and move on. No politics, no cover. Just fix it.

  • The Work That Remains is the Work That Matters. We actively cut low-value work. What lands on your plate is there because it matters — and can only be done by you.

It's a small world. Freehand employees Work Anywhere across the globe (we're remote & travel-first). We also cover your monthly home-internet costs. Every quarter, we arrange for a fully-paid trip to one of our Office Hubs to meet & interact with cross-functional teams.

In addition, we proudly offer the following Benefits to all our full-time employees:

  • Take what you need Vacation Policy

  • Full health coverage (with multiple gold-standard carriers across medical, dental & vision)

  • Life Insurance and Disability benefits

  • HSA/FSA Access

  • 401(k) with a 4% Employer Match

  • Fully-paid Parental Leave
