The Polish branch, as the Global Delivery Center, operates in Katowice since 2007 and has been growing ever since. Currently, our team consists of around 1,000 specialists.

Within the Digital Platform Services department, our teams specialize in areas such as cloud, operating systems, virtualization, databases, backup or storage, as well as networking and security. We also have 1st line support consultants who speak French and English, but also Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and German.

The Application Services department is responsible for areas such as software development, data engineering, testing services, CRM, ITSM and ERP platform integrations, as well as application management for customers in Scandinavia, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland and the UK.

Job Description

We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer to join the Sopra Steria Polska team and contribute to the projects for our clients.

Note that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and have EU citizenship.

Responsibilities:​

  • Participate in ServiceNow implementation, enhancement, and optimization projects.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
  • Design, configure, and develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform, primarily within the ITSM module.
  • Develop and maintain workflows, integrations, catalog items, business rules, script includes, and other custom platform components.
  • Implement new functionalities and enhancements in accordance with business and technical requirements.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
  • Review, optimize, and refactor custom code to ensure performance, maintainability, and compliance with ServiceNow best practices.
  • Support platform upgrades, patches, and releases, including testing and validation activities.
  • Monitor and maintain integrations and APIs to ensure reliable platform operations.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for configurations, integrations, and custom developments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, consultants, and Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Recommend and implement continuous improvements to enhance platform functionality, performance, and user experience.

Must Have Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.
  • ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) certification.
  • Strong experience and deep knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM.
  • Advanced JavaScript scripting skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with ITIL practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Fluent English B2/C1.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to document processes and share knowledge effectively.
  • Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice.

Nice to Have

  • Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CAD, CIS-ITSM, CIS-HRSD, CIS-ITOM).
  • Experience with other ServiceNow modules, such as HRSD, SLO, ITOM, or similar.
  • French B2/C1.

Salary range:

UOP: 12 000 -16 000 PLN gross/month;
