What You'll Be Doing

As our Remote IT Analyst, you'll play a key role in keeping our digital infrastructure rock-solid and our teams connected, productive, and secure. You'll be the go-to person for everything tech from remote support to system improvements. Here's a snapshot of your day-to-day:

- Provide remote IT support to engineering, modeling, and research teams

- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues across distributed teams

- Maintain, monitor, and upgrade internal systems, tools, and IT infrastructure

- Ensure data security, privacy compliance, and smooth access across platforms and endpoints

- Support specialized engineering tools and simulation software (CFD tools, modeling platforms, etc.)

- Assist in deploying new technologies, cloud tools, and productivity systems

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify tech gaps and implement smarter solutions

- Document IT processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures

- Perform basic scripting or automation for routine tasks (bonus if you love streamlining!)

- Monitor system performance and recommend optimizations to support scalability

We are looking for someone with:

- 3+ years of IT support or systems analysis experience

- Solid understanding of remote IT environments, cloud services (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS or Azure)

- Strong knowledge of data security, VPNs, and endpoint protection

- Experience supporting technical software tools, ideally in engineering or scientific environments

- Familiarity with remote desktop management, ticketing systems, and monitoring tools

- Great communication skills comfortable explaining complex concepts to non-tech teammates

- Ability to work independently, manage time well, and prioritize multiple requests

- Bonus: scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) or automation experience
