POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in leading end-to-end recruitment efforts, ensuring the organization attracts, engages, and hires top talent aligned with business needs and culture. This role partners closely with senior leadership, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams to design and execute recruitment strategies, streamline processes, and drive efficiency. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist contributes to strategic HR and organizational initiatives and supports the continuous improvement of recruitment practices, employer branding, and talent pipeline development. 

WORK LOCATION:

Remote position based in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, or Mumbai, with pan-India operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for India-based hiring, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate assessment, and offer management. 
  • Partner with senior leadership and hiring managers in India and globally to develop recruitment strategies aligned with business priorities and workforce planning needs. 
  • Utilize Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse) and sourcing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed) to effectively manage recruitment activities and identify qualified talent. 
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and ongoing candidate relationship management. 
  • Ensure timely communication and consistent updates throughout the recruitment process to deliver a positive and professional candidate experience. 
  • Collaborate closely with business functions, to recruit for technical and business-critical roles across India. 
  • Support or contribute to organizational initiatives beyond core recruitment responsibilities, including onboarding workstreams, process alignment, and the development of tools and resources that support the broader organization. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve, standardize, and streamline recruitment processes while supporting consistency across India and global talent acquisition practices. 
  • Serve as a trusted talent advisor to hiring teams by providing insights on the India talent market, candidate availability, compensation trends, sourcing strategies, and recruitment best practices. 
  • Ensure recruitment activities are conducted in alignment with company policies, established processes, and applicable employment practices and requirements in India. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred); MBA or postgraduate qualification in Human Resources or a related field preferred. 

Experience:

  • 5+ years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience, with demonstrated experience recruiting within the India talent market. 
  • Proven experience supporting technical and business functions in a corporate or professional services environment; experience within life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, engineering, or consulting industries is preferred. 
  • Strong knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse), sourcing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed), and end-to-end recruitment workflows. 
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers and stakeholders across different functions, geographies, and time zones. 
  • Skilled in leveraging recruitment data and metrics to track performance, identify trends, and improve hiring outcomes. 

Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively engage candidates, hiring managers, and senior leaders. 
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with experience supporting cross-functional and global initiatives. 
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
