About Copilot Innovations

Copilot Innovations is an AI solutions company providing custom software and AI-powered products to enhance productivity and digital transformation. We partner with diverse clients to build smarter applications and exceptional user experiences by combining advanced AI with human-centered design.

Role Overview

We seek an AI-forward UX Designer to redefine design processes using artificial intelligence. You will use generative AI to accelerate prototyping, user research, and asset production.

Managing various client projects, you will apply product and design thinking to create digital experiences. Success in this role requires blending creative vision with AI-driven efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end UX design for client applications and products, from discovery and research through wireframes, prototypes, and final handoff to development
  • Use AI-powered design tools (Figma AI features, Google Stitch, Claude, and others) to rapidly generate wireframes, UI mockups, and interactive prototypes
  • Conduct and synthesize user research using AI-assisted methods—analyzing interview transcripts, survey data, and behavioral analytics with intelligent tools to surface insights faster
  • Apply design thinking and product thinking frameworks to define user problems, map journeys, and validate solutions with stakeholders and end users
  • Create and maintain design systems, component libraries, and UI pattern documentation that enable consistent, scalable product design across client projects
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive, user-centered interfaces
  • Champion AI-first design workflows within the team, continuously exploring and evaluating emerging AI design tools and sharing best practices
  • Present design concepts and rationale to clients, articulating how AI-forward methods deliver higher quality and faster iteration cycles
  • Contribute to the evolution of Copilot Innovations’ internal design processes, toolkits, and AI-forward methodologies

Required Qualifications

  • 3–7+ years of professional UX/UI design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design across web and mobile applications
  • Proven, hands-on experience using AI tools in the design process—not just awareness, but active daily use of generative AI for prototyping, content generation, research analysis, or design iteration
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including familiarity with AI-powered plugins and features
  • Strong foundation in design thinking, product thinking, and human-centered design methodologies
  • Experience working in a consultancy, agency, or multi-client environment where you’ve adapted design approaches to different industries and user bases
  • Ability to conduct and synthesize qualitative and quantitative user research into actionable design decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills—comfortable leading client-facing design reviews and workshops
  • A growth mindset and genuine enthusiasm for experimenting with new AI tools and workflows

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Google Stitch, Claude, FigmaMake, ChatGPT, Midjourney, or similar generative AI platforms in a design or product context
  • Background in service design, information architecture, or UX strategy
  • Familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, React) to facilitate seamless designer-developer collaboration
  • Experience with design tokens, accessibility standards (WCAG), and responsive design best practices
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering techniques for extracting high-quality design outputs from AI tools
  • Prior work designing AI-powered products or interfaces that incorporate machine learning features

We encourage experimentation if a new AI tool can make our design process better, we want you to find it, test it, and share it with the team.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • Remote-first culture with flexible working hours
  • Access to cutting-edge AI tools and technologies—we invest in the best tools so you can do your best work
  • Diverse, challenging client projects across multiple industries
  • A collaborative team of AI enthusiasts, engineers, and designers who are passionate about pushing boundaries
  • Professional development budget for courses, conferences, and certifications
  • Opportunity to shape the future of AI-forward design practices at a growing company
