Job description

We are hiring an Enterprise Architect II on our Strategy and Architecture team at BCBST!

In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the technical and business process roadmap for the foundational technologies powering our GenAI expansion. You’ll operate as a technical product owner for our Microsoft ecosystem—including M365, Foundry, and Power Platform—guiding how teams design, build, and scale AI-driven solutions. A key focus will be enabling our AI activation efforts by standing up the platforms, defining guardrails, and evolving the ecosystem to ensure what teams build is secure, sustainable, and production-ready. Day to day, you’ll collaborate across architecture, engineering, and business teams to mature our GenAI capabilities, influence long-term platform strategy, and ensure alignment between emerging AI technologies and enterprise needs.

To be successful in this role, in addition to the core job requirements, you’ll bring strong experience operating as both an architect and technical product owner within the Microsoft ecosystem. You will be a strong candidate if you have deep expertise in Azure, M365, and Foundry, along with hands-on experience working with GenAI technologies, large language models (LLMs), and frontier model providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic. A robust background in enterprise architecture is essential, along with the ability to design scalable, governed solutions. Experience in healthcare is highly preferred.

Note:

  • This is a remote, work-from-home position, but the final round of interviews will take place on-site in our Chattanooga, TN office.
  • Sponsorship is not available for this role.
