Job Description:

Role Summary

The EV Operations – Service & Field Delivery Advisor leads day-to-day EV charging network operations across bp pulse ANZ, ensuring safe, compliant execution and consistent site standards. The role is accountable for network uptime, driving rapid incident response, recovery performance, and operational reliability. It manages field operations, maintenance delivery, and contractor coordination, ensuring effective asset management and SLA performance. The role leads incident and reporting with strong escalation and closure discipline, while providing frontline operational insights to reduce repeat faults and continuously improve network performance and customer experience

Key Accountabilities

  • Own day-to-day operations operational delivery across ANZ, ensuring safe, compliant execution of all site and field activities.

  • Drive network uptime and reliability, with accountability for rapid incident response, issue resolution, and recovery performance.

  • Lead incident management and operational reporting, maintaining strong closure discipline and clear escalation pathways.

  • Implement maintenance and asset management programmes, including contractor coordination and preventive maintenance delivery.

  • Provide frontline operational insight on network performance, identifying recurring issues and contributing to fault reduction and continuous improvement.

Essential Education

University degree in business, economics, engineering, or equivalent discipline.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience in operations or service delivery roles within infrastructure-heavy environments (EV, energy, telecoms, transport or similar), managing multi-site networks.

  • Proven experience running live operations, including real-time monitoring, incident management, and driving

  • uptime/reliability outcomes

  • Hands-on background in field operations and maintenance delivery, including managing third-party contractors,

  • Implementing preventive maintenance, and improving asset performance.

  • Demonstrated experience in safety-critical environments (HSSE) with strong understanding of compliance, risk management, and safe site operations.

  • 5. Strong operational and analytical capability, able to interpret network performance data (faults, uptime, incidents) and translate it into actions that reduce repeat issues and improve reliability.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience and passion for EVs and the energy transition.

  • Experience with working with external partners (such as customers & suppliers to bp)
