Job description

El Rol:

Buscamos un Senior Software QA Engineer proactivo para elevar la confiabilidad y calidad de una plataforma líder de Monitoreo Remoto de Pacientes (RPM) en el sector healthtech. La persona actuará como el "gatekeeper" principal del producto, siendo responsable del ciclo de vida de los bugs, Análisis de Causa Raíz (RCA), pruebas de integración de APIs y bases de datos, e implementación de un enfoque de calidad "Left-Shift" (prevención de errores desde la etapa de diseño de requerimientos).

Requisitos Obligatorios (Must-Have):

  • Experiencia: 4+ años de experiencia en Aseguramiento de Calidad de Software (QA) o Ingeniería de Software, enfocado fuertemente en pruebas de integración y a nivel de sistema.

  • Habilidad de Debugging y RCA: Capacidad demostrable para realizar Análisis de Causa Raíz, leer código (preferentemente Python / Django), inspeccionar bases de datos (PostgreSQL) y analizar logs de servidores para encontrar el origen exacto del error.

  • Arquitectura de Pruebas Automatizadas: Experiencia diseñando e implementando frameworks de pruebas de integración desde cero (PyTest, Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, etc.).

  • Dominio de APIs y SQL: Experiencia sólida probando APIs RESTful (deseable Django Rest Framework) y escribiendo consultas SQL para validar integridad de datos.

  • Idioma: Inglés Avanzado/Fluido, ya que la colaboración directa y cotidiana con los Product Managers e ingenieros es en este idioma.

  • Escolaridad: Licenciatura/Ingeniería en Ciencias de la Computación, Tecnologías de la Información o carrera afín.

Deseables (Nice-to-Have):

  • Capacidad para escribir código y enviar Pull Requests (PRs) con correcciones menores en entornos Python/Django.

  • Experiencia previa en proyectos con normativas y estándares de salud (HIPAA, SOC 2, HL7, FHIR).

  • Manejo de pipelines de CI/CD (GitHub Actions) para integrar pruebas automatizadas al flujo de despliegue.

  • Experiencia colaborando cercanamente con equipos de Product Management en entornos startup de ritmo acelerado.
