Position Summary

This posting represents Regional Operations Manager opportunities across multiple Home Franchise Concepts brands. While the core responsibilities and qualifications are consistent, specific brand assignments, travel expectations, business priorities, and areas of focus may vary. Candidates will receive additional information about the assigned brand and role expectations as they progress through the interview process.

The Regional Operations Manager (ROM) serves as the strategic business partner for an assigned portfolio of franchise owners. This role is responsible for helping franchisees achieve sustainable revenue growth, profitability, operational excellence, and long-term business success through business coaching, financial guidance, operational support, and relationship management.

Leveraging financial reporting, CRM platforms, operational scorecards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and business intelligence tools, the ROM provides data-driven coaching and actionable recommendations that improve financial performance, strengthen operational execution, support brand compliance, and drive franchisee success.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen, operational expertise, sales coaching, and relationship-building skills with a passion for helping small business owners achieve their goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Coaching & Financial Performance

  • Serve as the primary business coach and trusted advisor for an assigned portfolio of franchise owners.
  • Analyze financial statements, KPIs, operational metrics, and business performance data to identify opportunities for growth and profitability.
  • Coach franchisees on budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategies, cash flow management, margin improvement, and overall financial literacy.
  • Partner with franchisees to develop annual business plans, measurable growth objectives, and ongoing action plans.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to evaluate progress, identify challenges, and recommend strategic solutions.
  • Help franchisees understand business performance and make informed operational and financial decisions.

Revenue Growth & Operational Excellence

  • Monitor revenue growth, profitability, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, sales performance, and other key business metrics.
  • Coach franchisees on sales effectiveness, lead conversion, operational best practices, workforce planning, customer experience, marketing execution, and project management.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend strategies that improve productivity, profitability, and long-term business performance.
  • Adapt coaching strategies based on each franchisee's stage of business growth and individual needs.

Franchise Support & Relationship Management

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with franchise owners through proactive coaching and consistent communication.
  • Lead franchisees through onboarding and ongoing business development following initial training.
  • Conduct virtual coaching sessions, field visits, webinars, regional meetings, and convention presentations.
  • Connect franchisees with internal subject matter experts, approved vendors, workforce resources, and corporate support teams.
  • Foster collaboration and encourage sharing of best practices throughout the franchise network.

Brand Standards, Technology & Compliance

  • Promote consistent execution of brand standards, operational procedures, approved vendors, and strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor operational compliance and develop corrective action plans when appropriate.
  • Utilize CRM systems, business intelligence platforms, operational dashboards, and reporting tools to document coaching activities and monitor franchise performance.
  • Support implementation and adoption of new systems, technology, and operational enhancements across the franchise network.

Training & Continuous Improvement

  • Facilitate onboarding, operational, financial, sales, and leadership training programs.
  • Develop and deliver educational content for webinars, regional meetings, conventions, and academy training.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve franchise support processes, operational tools, and business resources.
  • Encourage continuous learning and professional development throughout the franchise system.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of business operations, finance, sales, marketing, and small business management.
  • Demonstrated success coaching business owners, franchisees, or multi-unit operators to improve business performance.
  • Advanced financial acumen with the ability to interpret financial statements, KPIs, budgets, and operational reporting.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into practical business recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, coaching, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to influence and motivate diverse business owners.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Experience utilizing CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and business technology to manage franchise performance.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently in a remote environment.
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to Home Franchise Concepts' culture and values.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered. Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) or coaching certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience supporting, coaching, or managing franchise, multi-unit, or small business operations.
  • Franchise operations, franchise business coaching, or business consulting experience strongly preferred.
  • Prior business ownership or franchise ownership is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with financial statements, business analytics, CRM platforms, and operational reporting.

Travel & Work Environment

  • Remote position with approximately 25–40% travel, depending on business needs.
  • Must reside near a major airport.
  • Ability to travel throughout assigned territories for coaching, operational support, regional meetings, and conventions.
  • Working hours may vary based on assigned territory.
  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

The compensation range for this position is $80,000 - 110,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including relevant experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and alignment with the specific business needs of the assigned brand. While this posting reflects the full salary range for the position across our organization, individual offers will be made within the range based on the selected candidate's experience and the requirements of the role.
