Job Description:

At Ascentium Capital, the Marketing Administrator is responsible for developing marketing and sales communication materials including technical expertise and coding with HyperText Markup Language (HTML) deliverables. This position recommends and implements marketing and strategic sales support and go-to-market strategies.

Ascentium Capital, a division of Regions Bank, provides convenient access to financing for business equipment and technology and serves small organizations to Fortune 500 companies with programs that benefit manufacturers, distributors and direct to businesses nationwide. Our finance specialization covers several segments, including technology, healthcare, hospitality, franchise, commercial vehicles, and other markets. We strive to be the premier provider of customized finance programs that add value to our customers' businesses.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Implements marketing activities to acquire new customers

  • Assists in driving sales with repeat customer activity

  • Implements messaging and branding strategy for the business unit

  • Measures efficacy of the marketing strategy and recommends changes to management

  • Conceptualizes and develops innovative marketing materials for the business unit

  • Helps proof marketing and sales material copies, articles, and web content

  • Manages the creation, delivery, and effectiveness of direct marketing campaigns

  • Helps drive the growth of brand awareness through social media

  • Ensures marketing communications and digital assets comply with brand standards

  • Understands the customer experience and develops materials and processes to enhance the overall experience

  • Develops new marketing and sales assets including video testimonials and online tools and resources

  • Manages a portion of the business unit marketing budget to support sales and marketing initiatives

  • Develops effective messaging and calls to action that support business objectives

  • Partners with the sales team to assure the timely and accurate delivery of marketing material through various channels

  • Performs analysis on campaign analytics and provides insight for actionable changes

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • Five (5) years of experience in business-to-business marketing or closely related experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

  • Strong attention to detail and proof-reading skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation

Additional Insights

  • Strengthen Ascentium’s brand through creation of new standards, evaluation of existing marketing against standards and quality control
  • Graphic design and creative production of innovative and compelling marketing assets (digital, print, video, social, web, presentations)
  • Long and short-form video production for internal and external audiences
  • Apply HTML, digital design, and production skills to development of email, website and video content
  • Management of Sales & Marketing SharePoint, web and email content management systems including design and updating of content
  • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure marketing materials are compliant with current regulations
  • Maintain asset libraries and build scalable templates for use across multiple channels/platforms
  • Evaluate marketing tools, technologies, and processes for continuous improvement
  • Stay current on graphic design and new media trends and apply insights to improve performance and results

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Job Range Target:

$98,553.96 USD

Median:

$131,461.20 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
