Job Title: Director of Engineering – EDC, RTSM, eConsent
Location: United States or Canada
Function: Software Engineering


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Director of Engineering – EDC, RTSM, eConsent plays a critical role in driving organizational change and technological advancement within Sitero.
  • As Director of Engineering – EDC, RTSM, eConsent, is directly in charge of spearheading all business technology and business process integration and optimization activities. Drive digital-first activities.
  • Strong leadership abilities and a thorough understanding of drug safety databases like ArigsG/LSMV, pharmacovigilance, and information technology - including GenAI and LLMs - are prerequisites for this role.
  • The Director will work closely with senior executives of cross-functional teams and Drug Safety Services teams to improve efficiency and use technology and automation to meet organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies for business transformation and automation projects that are in line with the short- and long-term aims and objectives of the business unit/service line teams (drug safety service line/e-clinical).
  • Find potential opportunities for cost reduction, operational efficiency through technical innovation, and PV process optimization using tools and automation (RPA and ALML).
  • Lead efforts to evaluate, redesign, and optimize business processes across different work teams. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiencies using technologies and tools.
  • Drive the organization's digital transformation agenda by implementing cutting-edge technologies and digital solutions. Identify emerging trends and technologies relevant to the PV, clinical, and CRO industries.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 15+ Years of experience in IT and Software product Development.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science engineering, or a related field; master's degree preferred.

Full Time, Permanent


COMMITMENTS:

  • Standard Hours 40 hours per week, one hour lunch, Monday - Friday. Additional hours as needed.
  • Willing to work in shifts as and when needed.
