ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a technology team focused on improving engineering productivity, cloud adoption, and software delivery capabilities across enterprise applications. This role is centered on DevOps enablement, automation, and AWS cloud platform engineering, helping development teams build, deploy, and operate applications efficiently and securely.

You will drive the adoption of modern DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, GitOps standards, CI/CD automation, and cloud-native solutions, while supporting platform modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications and services.

• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules to provision and maintain AWS infrastructure.

• Implement and promote GitOps practices and deployment standards across teams.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and operational processes.

• Define and maintain quality gates to ensure code quality, security, compliance, and release readiness.

• Support cloud-native adoption and modernization initiatives within AWS environments.

• Collaborate with development, architecture, and operations teams to enhance delivery processes and platform capabilities.

• Optimize AWS environments for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions for cloud applications and infrastructure.

• Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and application-related issues in AWS environments.

• Create reusable templates, standards, and best practices to enable self-service capabilities for engineering teams.

• Drive continuous improvement of software delivery, automation, and platform engineering processes.
  

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Platform Engineer.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services.

• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

• Experience implementing GitOps methodologies and automated deployment strategies.

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes/EKS.

• Knowledge of AWS services such as: EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, Route 53, VPC, SNS/SQS.

• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.

• Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python).

• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.

• Experience working in Agile and DevOps-driven environments.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness and readiness to travel as required by project or client needs is expected. This may include occasional domestic or international travel, sometimes on short notice.
  

NICE TO HAVE

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, or SysOps Administrator).

• Experience with platform engineering and developer enablement initiatives.

• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging technologies.

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with software quality, compliance, and release governance processes.

• Experience with modern application modernization and cloud transformation programs.
