We’re looking for a talented individual to…

Join our Program and Operations team as a Program Analyst supporting the IESO’s Save on Energy Remote First Nations Energy Efficiency Program (RFNEEP). This maternity leave replacement term will focus heavily on program financials, including invoicing, expense tracking, COGS review, forecasting, and financial modelling.

In this role, you will help ensure accurate data, reliable reporting, and strong financial oversight for a program that supports remote First Nations communities in Northern Ontario with energy-efficiency projects that reduce energy use, lower costs, and improve comfort for homes and businesses.

The position can be remote, specifically within Central to Atlantic time zones.

This is a maternity leave replacement contract.

  • Maintain accurate data and identify discrepancies.

  • Use Excel and reporting tools to analyze and present data.

  • Leverage AI tools such as Copilot and Claude to support analysis and reporting.

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively.

  • Support occasional travel and program activities within Indigenous communities.

  • Strong financial acumen with experience in invoicing, reporting, or expense tracking.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data.

  • Experience using AI tools such as Copilot or Claude.

  • Experience with Power Query and/or Power BI is an asset.

  • A degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

  • Experience in energy efficiency, utility programs, or Indigenous communities is an asset.

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Targeted Compensation

$26-$28/h

Canadian Commercial Driving Requirements

If applicable, meet all qualification, licensing, medical, and compliance requirements for commercial drivers under applicable provincial and territorial laws, the Canadian National Safety Code (NSC), and any federal regulations for extra‑provincial operations, including hours‑of‑service and safety fitness requirements.
