Job description

Technical Solution Manager (Agile/SDLC) — Full Remote EU

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Join a high-growth international insurtech operating at the intersection of insurance and technology, with a presence across Asia, Europe, and the United States. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior delivery leadership role within a globally distributed engineering organization, reporting directly to the Insurance Exchange CTO.

You will work fully remotely from anywhere in Europe, embedded in a fast-paced, diverse, and innovation-driven environment where the decisions you make have real global impact. If you are energized by complex software ecosystems, cross-cultural collaboration, and the rapidly evolving insurtech/fintech landscape, this role was built for you.

PROJECT & CONTEXT

You will lead the delivery orchestration of international software projects spanning multiple development squads distributed across four continents. Your mission is to ensure that Product and Tech teams stay aligned throughout every phase of the software development lifecycle — from requirements gathering through release — while managing dependencies, minimizing bottlenecks, and driving operational excellence at scale.

You will act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, representing engineering in customer-facing contexts and translating complex technical realities into strategic, commercially sound decisions.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Solid technical background with a strong understanding of software architecture and architectural patterns
  • Proven experience in delivery management within Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, or scaled Agile frameworks)
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) in all its phases — from planning and development to QA, release, and production
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional, multi-team workstreams across distributed geographies
  • Strong stakeholder management skills — ability to negotiate scope with product owners and business stakeholders while respecting technical constraints
  • Experience supporting and coaching squad leads or engineering team leads to maintain high standards of competence and delivery quality
  • Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, with a creative, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) — mandatory; this is the primary working language across all global teams
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Must be based in Europe (EU or European timezone required)

NICE TO HAVE

  • Fluency in Italian and/or French — a significant advantage given the company's European market footprint
  • Background or exposure to the insurtech, fintech, or financial services domain
  • Experience working in international, multicultural product-and-tech environments
  • Familiarity with quality assurance processes and coordinating with QA teams for release readiness
  • Experience operating in a matrix or multi-stakeholder organization across four or more global time zones

Compensation: €2,000 – €2,800/month net, depending on experience and seniority level.
