Job Title: Senior UX Designer

 

Location: Remote

What You’ll Do

The Senior UX Designer will help create world class, accessible digital experiences for educational software. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with product and engineering partners to solve complex problems and deliver accessible, user centered solutions reporting to the Senior Design Manager.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead UX and product design efforts from concept through final execution using Figma.
  • Design intuitive, high-quality experiences that meet user needs, business goals, and technical requirements.
  • Apply accessibility best practices and WCAG compliance standards across all design work.
  • Leverage user research, data, and insights to inform and validate design decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define problems, explore solutions, and iterate on designs.
  • Participate in product and design meetings to contribute ideas and solve complex product challenges.
  • Present and clearly articulate design concepts, rationale, and tradeoffs to stakeholders.
  • Use AI tools appropriately to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and support smarter ways of working.
  • Produce user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design specifications.
  • Ensure alignment with design systems, UX standards, and established patterns.

 

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3–5+ years of UX design experience working on collaborative teams.
  • A portfolio that shows a strong understanding of the complete UX design process, from research to final design.
  • Proficiency in Figma and modern UX design tools.
  • Proven ability to design accessible, user-friendly, and inclusive digital experiences.

 

 

Role Expectations

  • Work independently as well as collaborate with cross functional teams.
  • Attend meetings and actively participate in team reviews and product discussions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the product to deliver thoughtful, effective solutions.

 

Salary range:  $95,000 - $103,000
