Job description

Location Details: Remote - United States

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Virginia, the Virgin Islands, Washington, or the metro cities of Austin, TX and Washington D.C.

GoDaddy's Domain Name Aftermarket is the largest premium domain reseller in the industry. We are looking for elite sales talent to join our team. We connect with businesses and individuals interested in acquiring premium domain names, both through inbound interest and by proactively identifying and engaging high-fit buyers. Premium Domains are domains which are already registered, and the owner has listed it for sale. We work in a fast-paced sales environment where we encourage representatives to own their pipeline and the relationships in it. We are seeking someone who is passionate about sales, has great interpersonal skills, and is highly organized. If that is you, we want to meet you!

What you'll get to do...

  • Connect with prospective buyers across inbound interest and proactive outreach, building rapport quickly
  • Research target companies and decision-makers to identify and engage strong-fit buyers for specific domains
  • Qualify buyer interest and intent, then partner with senior sales teammates to advance opportunities toward close
  • Use coaching and regular training sessions to continuously improve your selling skills
  • Become a specialist in domain names and advise customers on acquiring the best domain for their project or venture
  • Thrive in a dynamic sales environment, manage a steady pipeline of active conversations, and consistently hit activity and qualified-opportunity targets
  • Build and grow a pipeline of qualified buyers, nurturing longer-cycle opportunities and adding new prospects over time
  • Be a positive teammate who upholds GoDaddy values: be extraordinary, own outcomes, work fearlessly, join forces, and live passionately

Your experience should include...

  • Highly skilled communicator in listening, writing, and speaking in English
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with anyone from sole proprietors to C-level executives, grow relationships, and move sales forward
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting and research, including identifying decision-makers and tailoring outreach to the buyer
  • Highly motivated to exceed sales goals
  • Critical thinking that allows you to organize your time and priorities, multi-task, and pay close attention to fine details
  • You can work towards individual goals while still being a great teammate
  • Proficient with technology, have basic digital literacy and ability to learn programs such as Outlook, Salesforce, Word, and Excel
