About the Role
As Customer Development Manager, you will be responsible in build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively identifying and acquiring new business opportunities, with a focus on operators. Lead, supervise, and support the performance and development of all teams within the area of responsibility, including distributor sales teams, ensuring effective execution of daily and periodic sales activities. Monitor and control performance against established KPIs and business objectives to consistently achieve sales targets and drive sustainable business growth across the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing FS operators and actively pursue new FS operator with selling story.
- Provide tailored solutions to meet FS operator's needs and enhance satisfaction across alignment with marketing and trade marketing.
- Reach out to FS operators leads through cold calling and targeted outreach of FS operators within strategic hit list for achieving FS operator conversion.
- Understanding the product usage in FS operator across category with depth knowledge on that product on volume, pricing and menu.
- Identify inactive FS operator and tactical strategies to win them back and expand of product portfolio within FS operator.
2. Market Intelligence
- Identify the trend of menu in FS operator based on market trend for exploring the opportunity through menu ideation
3. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitoring and reporting daily the way of working via CRM to ensure progression on FS operator acquisition and product portfolio penetration.
- Reporting weekly basis on FS operator update, market potential, strategic hit list and competition
Who We’re Looking For:
- While a bachelor's degree is a plus, we highly value extensive and relevant culinary knowledge and experience. This includes working in various segments of the Indonesian food service industry, such as commercial and social chains, pubs, restaurants, or mass catering businesses (HoReCa) or as an operator.
- We seek a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude who can effectively influence and persuade others. The ability to identify and seize opportunities is also crucial.
- A passion for food and the foodservice industry, coupled with a strong knowledge base, is essential.
- We are looking for an articulate self-starter who demonstrates initiative and the drive to get things done efficiently.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel are required.
