Job Summary

The Service Director I will oversee specific geographic area and work with clients to help facilitate business needs and requests for their customer base.  This position will recruit and hire prospective employees, manage field personnel, meet financial and sales targets, negotiate contracts, and establish and meet productivity metrics.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage workflow and quality of work performed by Service Managers with consultation from the Region General Manager
  • Manage sales and financial responsibilities including inventory analysis, accounts receivable, invoice review, and operating plan targets
  • Establish and manage key performance indicators to ensure business objectives are met
  • Negotiate service agreements with client in accordance with the DOA
  • Partner with Resource Managers to manage workforce utilization
  • Ensure continuous client contact to assess long-term staffing needs
  • Contribute to strategic planning activities
  • Drive execution through cost optimization to achieve regional cost out targets
  • Work closely with clients to successfully accommodate all business needs
  • Partner with the Global Resourcing and Training team to create training opportunities for employees
  • Assist with recruiting and hiring prospective employees
  • Review job mobilization data, employee feedback, and weekly reports
  • Work with the EHS team on site audits to ensure compliance
  • Assist with HR issues, employee safety issues, time and expense review/approval, company initiatives, and other office related activities
  • Travel may be required
  • Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments
  • You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 11+ years progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
  • 6+ years managing and developing multi-discipline teams, preferably with international reach across multiple service types
  • 5+ years of specialized/industry experience and project management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred
  • Additional years of experience in power generation or technical industry can be substituted for degree and/or sales and project management experience
  • English proficiency required
