Essential Responsibilities: 
  • Must have prior mechanical experience such as automotive, power generation, heavy equipment or diesel engines.
  • Perform preventative maintenance (oil change, valve adjustment, lube and check equipment)
  • Experienced using tools (including diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools)
  • Ability to read, interpret safety documents, schematics and other mechanical diagrams
  • Experienced in troubleshooting and repairs of an engine.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
  • Ability to travel incl. overnight travel.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
  • Must be able to communicate via telephone & email
 
Qualification Requirements: 
  • Strong customer service mindset and strong skills to drive, support,
  • Empower and inspire the Service teams and Customers +7 years’ experience in a technical role or
  • extensive years of experience with issue resolution exposure within (Field-)
  • Service on engines (ideally INNIO Jenbacher engines) Technical attitude, complemented by strong business acumen including basic IT skills
  • Willingness to work in shift model (depending) and on call
  • Experience working with electrical or mechanical systems
  • Fluency in English a must
  • Good interpersonal skills
 
Job specific knowledge:
  • Strong communication skills…experienced in customer communications. 
  • Boundaryless and multi-culture working mindset and team player.
  • Able to work efficiently without direct supervision.
Preferred: 
  • Multi-working experience with Jenbacher gas engines in the field, operational & commissioning, all engine types.
  • Jenbacher training certifications: FTB, FTA, CT1, CT2, MR6
  • Mechanical RCA research and analysis exposure
  • Previous field experience a bonus
