Job Description
As a Windows Systems Administrator, you will be the architect, Client, and driving force behind our Windows environments. You will design, optimize, and continuously enhance the platforms that power the entire organization.

You will be the go-to expert for preventing incidents, strengthening security, and modernizing infrastructure. You will provide technical leadership, deliver practical solutions, and help advance our technology standards.

Working with a modern technology stack—including PowerShell, Microsoft Azure, SCCM, Group Policy (GPO), Just Enough Administration (JEA), Windows Server, Azure DevOps, and GitHub—you will play a key role in building a more reliable, automated, and innovative IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain, Optimize, and Automate

  • Troubleshoot and permanently resolve complex technical issues.
  • Respond quickly to major incidents and restore systems with minimal downtime.
  • Optimize and automate Windows infrastructure and operational processes.

Protect and Secure

  • Identify system vulnerabilities and implement effective security patches and remediation measures.
  • Participate in security audits and strengthen the organization's overall security posture.
  • Apply best practices for privileged access management and infrastructure security.

Build, Deploy, and Accelerate

  • Design and maintain infrastructure deployment pipelines.
  • Drive automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps best practices.
  • Develop, test, and deploy automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Share Knowledge and Support the Team

  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Train and mentor team members to increase technical capability and operational independence.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.

Innovate and Improve

  • Identify opportunities to optimize and modernize Windows environments.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovative infrastructure solutions.
  • Continuously improve system reliability, performance, and automation capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Windows Server administration. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Strong expertise with:
    • Windows Server 2019, 2022, and 2025
    • Microsoft Azure DevOps (Pipelines, CI/CD, Automation)
    • PowerShell scripting and automation
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Group Policy (GPO)
    • Just Enough Administration (JEA)
    • Just-In-Time (JIT) Administration
    • Privileged Access Management best practices
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure security principles.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications and VMware environments.
  • Availability to work outside normal business hours when required.
  • Bilingual (French and English) communication skills are required.

Exigences et qualifications requises

§ Baccalauréat en informatique ou dans une discipline appropriée

§ Un minimum de cinq ans d’expérience pertinente en administration Windows Server. À noter que d’autres combinaisons de formation et d’expérience pertinentes pourraient être considérées

§ Expertise de Windows Server 2019, 2022, 2025

§ Maîtrise avec Azure DevOps (pipelines, CI/CD, automatisation)

§ Maîtrise de PowerShell et de l'automatisation

§ Connaissances de GPO, JEA, JIT et des bonnes pratiques d’accès privilégiés

§ Connaissances des principes de sécurité

§ Connaissances en télécommunications et en VMware

§ Disponibilité pour travailler à l'extérieur des heures normales de bureau

§ Connaissance du français et de l'anglais nécessaire
