Job description

This role is accountable for material cost, margin delivery, working capital, supply continuity, and innovation. Procurement owns a significant portion of the P&L and plays a central role in managing supplier risk, ensuring service continuity, and delivering productivity and transformation initiatives already in flight.
The role also plays a key part in the HC NA board, being involved in all discussions and decision making.

KEY OBJECTIVES

Co-develop procurement strategy in close partnership with the Procurement Director and Home Care LATAM leadership, aligning with business priorities and market dynamics.
Define and implement governance frameworks to ensure transparency, agility, and compliance across sourcing processes.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), proactively identifying gaps and leading corrective action plans to drive continuous improvement.
Shape and activate the area’s medium- and long-term strategic “Big Bets” translating ambition into actionable roadmaps for value creation and resilience.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner closely with the Home Care Procurement Director to shape and execute the strategic agenda and high-impact programs across LATAM.

Ensure connection and coherence between the Business strategy and Procurement Lighthouse Strategy.

Organize and lead the Lighthouse Squads agenda and governance, ensuring the right tracking of KPIs and drumbeat to accelerate progress.

Ensure deep understanding per Small C to get synergies and opportunities across the region.

Explore external and internal insights with the portfolio sourcing teams and Lighthouse squads, communicating the insights and working with the Squads to develop and execute strategies that leverage these insights.

Derive value creation opportunities based on a deep Value Chain expertise, Supplier, Competitor and Industry Insights, as well as benchmarking.

Fluent English

Pay: The pay range for this position is $146,200 to $219,400. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. 

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
