Job Description

The Communication Effectiveness Trainer will play a key role in building communication confidence, improving customer‑facing interactions, and enabling consistent, high‑quality communication across global teams.

We seek an experienced Communication Effectiveness Trainer to design and facilitate programs that build awareness, soft skills (including estimates writing), and verbal/written communication proficiency. This role trains trainers who deliver sessions to global partners, ensuring alignment with claims processes. The ideal candidate will have proven experience facilitating training for global teams across language and cultural backgrounds, familiarity with insurance claims environments, and expertise in train-the-trainer models to scale communication development.

Key Responsibilities

• Contributes as subject matter expert for learning offerings; Recommends improvements to ensure offerings are customer centric; Serves as lead, or is part of, an agile team for large projects.

• Measures learning effectiveness and shares recommendations to help improve learner understanding; Provides support for learners as needed.

• Designs, evaluates and maintains complex learning offerings to ensure alignment with business or enterprise need in as part of an agile team.

• Provides instruction and follow-up coaching for facilitated learning offerings.

• Develops, designs and delivers learning offerings that are aligned to business and enterprise strategy; Ensures talent management practices are understood and supported consistently within learning offerings; Drive adoption of skills-based culture to empower and develop meaningful business-relevant skills through design and delivery of learning.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

  • Enhance Communication Styles: Build clarity, confidence, and effectiveness in spoken and written communication.

  • Development/Coaching: Apply coaching techniques to develop capabilities and confidence in global teams.

  • Optimize Training Delivery: Elevate the impact and effectiveness of training programs.

  • Technology & Platform Proficiency: Leverage key design and productivity platforms, including MS Office 365, Articulate 360, and Camtasia, to create high‑quality learning and communication materials.

Compensation

Base compensation offered for these roles are:

L&D Sr Consultant I: $62,100 - $105,300
L&D Sr Consultant II: $65,600 - $111,550
Learning & Development Lead Cons: $80,000 - $140,050

Annually and is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) if applicable for the role.
