Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a high-growth or startup environment

  • Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles

  • Experience with payroll processing and accounts payable workflows

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet recurring deadlines

  • CPA candidate or bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred"


What you’ll do:

  • Work in close partnership with the Controller to strengthen the month-end processes

  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to support timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes

  • Reconcile general ledger accounts, proactively identify discrepancies, and ensure integrity of financial reporting

  • Support regulatory reporting requirements including surveys, franchise taxes, and annual reports, ensuring compliance with applicable deadlines

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee and vendor inquiries, partnering with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently

  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects to inform business decisions and improve operational efficiency

  • Review, code, and process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and corporate card transactions in accordance with company policy and accounting standards

  • Maintain and update vendor records, accounts payable inbox, and the Company Finance calendar, ensuring timely tracking of key reporting and compliance deadlines
