Job description

At H1, we believe access to the best healthcare information is a basic human right. Our mission is to provide a platform that can optimally inform every doctor interaction globally. This promotes health equity and builds needed trust in healthcare systems. To accomplish this our teams harness the power of data and AI-technology to unlock groundbreaking medical insights and convert those insights into action that result in optimal patient outcomes and accelerates an equitable and inclusive drug development lifecycle.  Visit h1.co to learn more about us.

H1 is partnering with a leading Danish pharmaceutical company to build and lead the product organization for an internal clinical data platform that powers trial design, site selection, and study operations across NN's global R&D function. This role sits at the center of that engagement—a rare opportunity to own a meaningful product inside one of the world's largest and most innovative pharmaceutical companies, operating with the speed and accountability of a startup.

WHAT YOU'LL DO AT H1

As Director, Product Management, you will execute and align the product roadmap and strategy for a clinical data platform used by one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in Denmark organization globally. You will operate in a client-embedded model, working daily with NN stakeholders while reporting into H1's product leadership. This is a build role: the platform is growing, the team is forming, and you will shape both.

You will:
- Execute on the StudyHub product roadmap, aligning clinical and operational priorities with H1's technical capabilities
- Partner closely with client stakeholders—including clinical operations, data science, and digital leadership—to surface requirements, validate direction, and maintain trust
- Lead discovery and delivery cycles with a cross-functional team including engineers, data analysts, UI/UX designers, and AI scientists
- Translate complex clinical data workflows into clear, prioritized product requirements that engineering can execute against
- Establish product metrics, track adoption, and drive continuous improvement based on user feedback and usage data
- Represent the product to senior stakeholders at both H1 and Novo Nordisk; communicate tradeoffs and decisions with clarity and conviction
- Contribute to H1's broader product strategy and serve as a practitioner-leader in H1's growing Copenhagen presence
- Support hiring and onboarding of additional product team members as the engagement scales

ABOUT YOU
You're a senior product leader who has shipped data products in complex, regulated, or enterprise environments—and you know how to earn trust with technical and clinical stakeholders alike. You've also operated in a startup or high-growth environment and are comfortable with ambiguity, tight resources, and end-to-end ownership. You think in systems, have the judgment to know when to push and when to align, and you're excited by the intersection of healthcare data and AI.

REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years in product management, with at least 2 years at the Associate Director or Director level or leading a product area end-to-end
- Demonstrated experience building or managing data products—pipelines, dashboards, analytics platforms, or clinical/research data tools
- Track record of effective stakeholder management in enterprise or client-embedded environments
- Pharma, clinical research, or health data domain experience; ability to engage credibly with clinical ops and R&D stakeholders
- Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment; comfort with high ambiguity and direct ownership
- Fluent English required; Danish or other Scandinavian language a plus
- Based in Copenhagen or willing to relocate; existing right-to-work in Denmark strongly preferred
- Comfortable operating across US and European time zones
H1 OFFERS
- Competitive salary + equity (RSUs)
- 5 weeks paid vacation + unlimited additional PTO days and company-wide wellness days
- Pension with employer match
- Health, mobile phone & home office stipends
- A culture built on hygge — low hierarchy, high trust, and real autonomy over your work
- Monthly team social (søbar)
- Direct embed with one of the world's top 20 pharmaceutical companies, working on a global initiative with real impact on how clinical research gets done
- Exposure to H1's broader life sciences client network across biotech, pharma, and digital health
