Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior SAP BusinessObjects Developer with extensive hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and optimizing business intelligence and data-oriented solutions using SAP BusinessObjects.
The professional will work closely with global teams, supporting business requirements through the development of reports, queries, stored procedures, and other data solutions. The position requires strong technical expertise, analytical capability, effective communication in English, and experience working within large corporate environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and optimize business intelligence solutions using SAP BusinessObjects – BOBJ.
• Design, create, and enhance queries, reports, and stored procedures according to business requirements.
• Participate in requirements gathering, technical analysis, solution design, development, and implementation activities.
• Translate business and data requirements into reliable and scalable technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain source code using Visual Studio Code.
• Use GitHub for source-code version control, collaboration, documentation, and development governance.
• Use GitHub Copilot to improve development productivity and support code creation and optimization.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and identify root causes related to reports, queries, stored procedures, and SAP BusinessObjects solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow software development and code governance best practices.
• Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency across all deliverables.
• Support solution testing, validation, deployment, and continuous improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of eight years of professional experience working with SAP BusinessObjects – BOBJ.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining reports, queries, and stored procedures.
• Experience supporting and optimizing SAP BusinessObjects environments and solutions.
• Practical experience using Visual Studio Code for software development and maintenance.
• Experience using GitHub for version control and team collaboration.
• Practical knowledge of GitHub Copilot and its application in software development activities.
• Advanced or fluent English, with the ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken interactions with international teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Proactive, organized, and delivery-oriented professional profile.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience working on global projects and with geographically distributed teams.
• Experience within large-scale corporate or enterprise environments.
• Experience with additional business intelligence and data analytics tools.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, technical documentation, source-code governance, and version control.
