Role Overview 

The National Account Manager is responsible for leading and growing Veseris’ national account portfolio through strategic, consultative, and value-based selling. This role focuses on strengthening enterprise-level customer relationships, driving profitable growth, and coordinating cross-functional efforts to expand market share and long-term partnerships. 


*The ideal candidate will be located in the Southeast region of the US as that will be your main territory*


Key responsibilities include: 

  • Lead and manage assigned national accounts to drive profitable growth and increased market share 
  • Develop and execute short-, mid-, and long-term account growth strategies 
  • Build strong relationships at multiple organizational levels within national accounts using a consultative approach 
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities within the national account portfolio 
  • Establish pricing strategies and manage quotations to support growth and profitability goals 
  • Coordinate closely with senior leadership, local sales teams, purchasing, and operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences 
  • Prepare and deliver formal presentations to customer and internal stakeholders 
  • Analyze financial, sales, and market data to identify trends, opportunities, and performance gaps 
  • Balance customer needs with company objectives through sound judgment and strategic prioritization
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience 
  • Minimum of 10 years of field sales experience, preferably within chemical or distribution-based industries 
  • Broad knowledge of the chemical distribution industry and national account structures 
  • Proven success leading strategic, enterprise-level customer growth initiatives 
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze complex data and market conditions 
  • Expertise in consultative, value-based selling methodologies 
  • Understanding of supply chain and distribution management principles 
  • Advanced proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 
  • Recognized industry leader with an established professional network and supplier relationships 
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple large-scale priorities
