The Supplier Performance Specialist role supports the Third-Party Supplier Management (3PSM) initiative, which manages Delivery Assurance activities performed by Third Party Supplier Management (TPSM) service providers. These providers support high‑volume production by maintaining delivery schedules, resolving supplier issues, and ensuring accurate updates in systems such as OSC Life (an internal tool for specific material) and Materials Requirements Planning (MRP).

You will serve as a key point of coordination between TPSM service providers and internal functions, ensuring material availability, timely delivery performance, and compliance with quality and contractual requirements. This is a fast‑paced, highly cross‑functional environment and supports execution across Procurement, Quality, Engineering, Program Management, and Operations.

What You Will Do

  • Manage daily execution activities with TPSM service providers to support Delivery Assurance
  • Ensure accurate and timely PO acknowledgements, schedule updates, and delivery commitments
  • Drive issue resolution and ensure TPSM providers complete effective root‑cause and corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate status in OSC Life and other internal tracking systems
  • Lead recurring reviews with TPSM providers and internal stakeholders to address priorities and risks
  • Track part and material status against MRP and escalate impact to schedules as needed
  • Coordinate cross‑functional communication with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Procurement, and Program teams
  • Monitor supplier performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with Delivery Assurance processes, quality expectations, and contractual requirements
  • Communicate proactively in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience
    • Relevant experience includes work in procurement, supplier management, contracts, purchasing, or data management
  • Experience in program or project management for issue‑resolution
  • Experience with SAP or other Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) systems
  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience working within a Third-Party Supplier Management environment
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI or broader data analytics experience
  • Experience in Aerospace, Defense, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain
  • Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement background
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to operate in a high‑volume, complex environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated willingness to go above and beyond for internal and external customers
