Job Description

The Market Sales Manager will research and drive sales for all software products and services under the GolfNow umbrella. They will have ownership of the full sales cycle from prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, relationship building, and account penetration. The Market Sales Manager will also be responsible for account management and growing their existing book of business.

Job Duties

  • Strong account management and relationship building experience
  • Outside Sales calls to Golf Courses partners and prospects
  • Preparation, presentation, and closing of customized golf course solutions
  • Documentation of sales activities into CRM database
  • Report generation of sales activities and revenues to be submitted to Regional Manager on a regular basis
  • Assist with market/course analysis to include web checks and opportunity email programs
  • Implement marketing strategies to grow partner rounds and revenue
  • Management responsibility of Multi-Course Operators relationships, as assigned by supervisor

The Market Sales Manager will be expected to become the expert on the local golf economy, which includes detailed knowledge of the golf courses, golf marketing outlets, market leaders, decision-makers, macroeconomic issues, and key competitors. The Market Sales Manager will use this detailed knowledge, under the assistance of their Area team to maximize the key performance metrics of the market. These metrics include: Number of Golf Course Clients & Overall Penetration, Product Adoption, Tee Time Utilization rates, and Local Customer (golfers) levels.

Le ou la gestionnaire des ventes – marché sera responsable de développer et de stimuler les ventes pour l’ensemble des logiciels et services offerts sous la marque GolfNow. Cette personne prendra en charge l’ensemble du cycle de vente, incluant la prospection, la génération de pistes, les appels à froid, le développement de relations et la pénétration de comptes. Elle sera également responsable de la gestion des comptes et de la croissance de son portefeuille de clients existants.

Responsabilités

  • Solide expérience en gestion de comptes et en développement de relations d’affaires
  • Effectuer des visites de vente externes auprès des terrains de golf partenaires et prospects
  • Préparer, présenter et conclure des solutions personnalisées pour les terrains de golf
  • Assurer la consignation des activités de vente dans le système CRM
  • Produire des rapports sur les activités de vente et les revenus à soumettre régulièrement au directeur régional
  • Participer à l’analyse du marché et des parcours (vérifications web, campagnes courriel d’opportunités, etc.)
  • Mettre en œuvre des stratégies marketing afin d’augmenter les réservations et les revenus des partenaires
  • Gérer les relations avec les exploitants multi-parcours, selon les mandats confiés par le gestionnaire

Le ou la gestionnaire des ventes – marché devra devenir une référence en matière d’économie locale du golf, incluant une connaissance approfondie des terrains de golf, des canaux marketing, des leaders du marché, des décideurs, des enjeux macroéconomiques et des principaux concurrents. En collaboration avec son équipe régionale, cette personne utilisera cette expertise afin d’optimiser les indicateurs de performance clés du marché, notamment : le nombre de terrains de golf clients et le taux de pénétration, l’adoption des produits, le taux d’utilisation des heures de départ, ainsi que le niveau de clientèle locale (golfeurs).

Exigences de base

  • Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience pertinente
  • Maîtrise de l’informatique et d’Internet
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en négociation

Qualifications

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience with online distribution platforms/technology is a plus
  • Salesforce or similar CRM experience
  • College degree, preferred
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
  • Sales development and/or strategy experience
  • Digital sales and marketing experience is a plus
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding metrics and goals
  • An ability to deliver on role duties and answer inquiries in a timely manner

Additional Requirements:

  • Must reside in Quebec or relocate to assigned market.
  • Fluent in French and English is required due to daily interactions with US based systems and French and English clients
  • Must be able to travel regularly, work overtime, and on weekends as necessary.
