Kentro is hiring a Metric & Value Lead to join its End Point Support and Operations Monitoring (ESOM) Program Management Office (PMO). This role is responsible for establishing, managing, and continuously improving the ESOM contract’s value measurement framework, performance metrics, and reporting ecosystem. The Value and Metrics Lead ensures contract metrics are well-defined, accurately measured, and clearly communicated to demonstrate mission impact, align to business goals, support client satisfaction, and reinforce contract readiness for portfolio growth. This position oversees an analyst and partners closely with PMO leadership, technical teams, and government stakeholders to drive data- informed decision-making and contract excellence.

 

Location: This position can be performed remotely within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours.

 

Compensation Range: The salary for this position is between $130-145K/annually. Factors affecting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the PMO’s Value and Metrics function, ensuring clear, accurate, and contract-aligned performance measurement across all program areas.
  • Develop and maintain the portfolio metrics framework, including definition, calculation, thresholds, KPIs, and success criteria.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of metrics dashboards, visualizations, and reports to provide actionable insights to program leadership and government stakeholders.
  • Establish and manage consistent processes for metrics collection, validation, analysis, and communication.
  • Define, articulate, and measure the value delivered through ESOM services, connecting performance outcomes to mission impact and customer experience leading to growth.
  • Ensure alignment of metrics with business goals, contractual requirements, federal best practices, and strategic objectives.
  • Monitor performance trends, identify gaps or risks, and provide proactive notifications to the leadership team.
  • Maintain ongoing knowledge of the federal landscape regarding client satisfaction, metrics methodologies, performance measurement, and value frameworks to guide organizational readiness and enhance competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with leadership, task leads, SMEs, and technical teams to ensure accurate, timely, and meaningful metrics reporting.
  • Translate performance metrics into executive-level budget-defense and growth narratives in partnership with applicable PMO functions, distinct from client-facing reporting.
  • Drive metrics adoption and reporting cadence with task leads and delivery teams, balancing framework requirements with operational workload.
  • Ensure operational readiness of all metrics and frameworks to support performance reporting, such as FAR and CPARS.
  • Maintain and mature the ESOM metrics roadmap (baseline, validate reporting, predictive indicators) for a newly established measurement function.
  • Lead the development of program-level value narratives for executive briefings, reviews, and strategic communications.
    Oversee an analyst responsible for data gathering, dashboard updates, metric tracking, and analytical support.
  • Maintain strong documentation practices and ensure all PMO measurement processes, definitions, and templates remain current and accessible.
  • Plan, facilitate, and lead cross-functional workshop with delivery teams, task leads, and stakeholders to identify, refine, and mature program metrics and value measurements.
  • Support the development and operational execution of additional PMO functions and contribute to the overall maturity of the PMO Team.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, public administration, data science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in federal consulting, PMO operations, quality management, or related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of federal contracting, performance frameworks, and client satisfaction methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage metrics frameworks across complex or multi-workstream programs and/or portfolio.
  • Knowledge of dashboarding and visualization tools such as Power BI
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience preparing and presenting metrics, insights, and value recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with executives, leadership, and delivery teams.
  • Proven ability to lead collaborative workshops or working sessions to build consensus, define metrics, and drive measurement maturity.
  • Familiarity with CPARS requirements and the contractor self-assessment process.
  • Experience in extracting value from data and tailoring to different audiences.
  • Experience leading or mentoring junior staff.
