Overview:
The Private Wealth Senior Service Specialist is a senior, client-facing role responsible for advancing and sustaining high-quality client relationships through exceptional service delivery, proactive engagement, and seamless execution across the Private Wealth platform.
This individual acts as a strategic partner to Private Bankers and an extension of the client relationship, serving as a primary point of contact for sophisticated client needs and ensuring continuity across all servicing and operational interactions. The role combines deep operational expertise with strong relationship awareness, enabling the Specialist to anticipate client needs, enhance the client experience, and support retention and growth objectives.
The Senior Specialist leads sophisticated onboarding processes, ensures accuracy and compliance across investment and banking workflows, and drives coordinated execution across internal teams. This role plays a key part in reinforcing relationship continuity and experience consistency while enabling Private Bankers to focus on advice, relationship development, and growth.
The Senior Specialist is expected to demonstrate deep operational knowledge, strong judgment, and informal leadership, providing workflow guidance and elevating service standards across the team to ensure consistent exceptional Private Wealth client experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Client Relationship & Experience
- Act as a consistent relationship presence for clients, reinforcing trust, continuity, and responsiveness across all interactions in partnership with the Private Banker.
- Anticipate client needs and proactively identify service or operational enhancements that strengthen the client relationship and overall experience.
- Support relationship deepening efforts by preparing for client meetings, identifying service gaps, risks, or opportunities, and enabling Private Bankers to focus on advice, planning, and growth.
- Promote a high-touch, personalized client experience aligned with the standards and expectations of the Private Wealth segment.
- Client Servicing & Execution
- Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day client servicing and execution for Private Wealth clients, managing complex inquiries, resolving escalated issues, and ensuring timely, professional, and proactive service delivery.
- Lead onboarding of new clients, coordinating sophisticated documentation requirements, overseeing account opening workflows, preparing materials, managing follow-ups, and ensuring accuracy across investment and banking relationship setup.
- Prepare, review, and process advanced servicing items, including account maintenance, money movement, wires, transfers, access permissions, and other operational tasks, ensuring strict adherence to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Coordination & Workflow Leadership
- Coordinate investment and deposit account opening activities by managing documentation routing, validating required information, and collaborating with Private Bankers, Portfolio Services Specialists, Trust Administrators, and internal banking partners.
- Deliver proactive communication to Private Bankers and internal partners regarding client needs, outstanding items, workflow status, and required actions.
- Act as a workflow liaison, collaborating across internal teams to ensure seamless execution and a unified client experience.
- Risk, Compliance & Controls
- Oversee and quality-check compliance submissions, including Account Acceptance, BSA, CIP, and other regulatory approvals, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely processing.
- Maintain and oversee documentation standards, ensuring accurate, organized, and compliant client files within the Private Wealth document repository.
- Support audit, regulatory, and compliance initiatives through accurate servicing, documentation oversight, and adherence to internal controls.
- Team Contribution
- Provide informal mentorship and guidance to PW Service Specialists, helping elevate team performance, consistency, and operational excellence.
- Compliance Training: Participate in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences, etc.

Requirements For Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; equivalent experience may be substituted.
- 4+ years of experience in banking, wealth management, financial services, or a related client‑servicing role.
- Experience supporting high‑net‑worth or ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients preferred.

- Advanced knowledge of deposit operations, investment management operations, and proficiency with financial and operational systems including CRM tools, portfolio management software, and core Private Wealth platforms (e.g., WealthHub, FIS, InvestorsView).
- Familiarity with banking platforms (e.g., Navigator/Premier, MeridianLink, BPM, Director).
- Strong understanding of investment and bank account opening documentation and compliance‑driven workflows.
- Experience supporting or training junior team members.

Pay Range:
USD $60,466.00 - USD $93,119.00 /Yr.
