We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Sales Engineer to drive business growth across East India, with Kolkata as the preferred base location. This role is well-suited for professionals who want hands-on exposure to utility, EPC, and power distribution projects, while building strong and lasting customer relationships.
Drive sales growth for Ensto’s LV and MV electricity distribution solutions across East India.
Identify, develop, and manage opportunities with utilities, DISCOMs, EPC contractors, consultants, and industrial customers.
Follow up on leads, customer requirements, quotations, tenders, and project opportunities.
Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations.
Support tender submissions, participate in commercial discussions, and contribute to order execution.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely customer support and effective project delivery.
Maintain the sales pipeline, forecasts, customer records, and visit reports through CRM and related business systems.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer requirements.
B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
1–4 years of experience in electrical equipment sales, power distribution, utilities, EPC, or infrastructure sectors.
Basic understanding of LV/MV distribution products and their applications.
Exposure to utility projects, tendering, EPC projects, or turnkey business is preferred.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to travel frequently across East India.
Experience with CRM, SAP, IFS, Microsoft 365, or similar business tools is an added advantage.
Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn.
Customer-focused with disciplined follow-up and ownership of the sales process.
Ability to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
Strong interest in technical sales, power distribution, and sustainable energy solutions.
Comfortable working independently from a home office environment.
