Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Sales Engineer to drive business growth across East India, with Kolkata as the preferred base location. This role is well-suited for professionals who want hands-on exposure to utility, EPC, and power distribution projects, while building strong and lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth for Ensto’s LV and MV electricity distribution solutions across East India.

  • Identify, develop, and manage opportunities with utilities, DISCOMs, EPC contractors, consultants, and industrial customers.

  • Follow up on leads, customer requirements, quotations, tenders, and project opportunities.

  • Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations.

  • Support tender submissions, participate in commercial discussions, and contribute to order execution.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely customer support and effective project delivery.

  • Maintain the sales pipeline, forecasts, customer records, and visit reports through CRM and related business systems.

  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

  • 1–4 years of experience in electrical equipment sales, power distribution, utilities, EPC, or infrastructure sectors.

  • Basic understanding of LV/MV distribution products and their applications.

  • Exposure to utility projects, tendering, EPC projects, or turnkey business is preferred.

  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to travel frequently across East India.

  • Experience with CRM, SAP, IFS, Microsoft 365, or similar business tools is an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn.

  • Customer-focused with disciplined follow-up and ownership of the sales process.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.

  • Strong interest in technical sales, power distribution, and sustainable energy solutions.

  • Comfortable working independently from a home office environment.
