Job description

For our client, we are seeking Senior Software Engineers with deep expertise in .NET and C# to lead the design and development of mission-critical systems across client domain. You will play a key role in shaping technical strategy, driving architectural decisions within a high-performing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the end-to-end delivery of complex software solutions, from requirements gathering and architecture design to development, testing, and production deployment
  • Owning and driving long-term technical initiatives and architectural improvements across systems
  • Collaborating closely with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals
  • Championing engineering best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and scalable design patterns
  • Conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance to peers and junior engineers
  • Proactively identifying and reducing technical debt, improving system resilience, and optimizing performance
  • Leading incident response and root cause analysis for production issues
  • Balancing multiple priorities at once, new features, production issues, support requests, and releases;
  • Operating day-to-day within the project tools, codebase, infrastructure, and processes as part of the project team.

Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years of professional experience in software engineering with C# and .NET
  • Proven experience in architectural design, system scalability, and distributed systems;
  • Financial services background would be considered as advantage;
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning;
  • Ability to balance delivery of business value with long-term technical strategy;
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus;
  • Strong advocate for collaborative development practices and continuous improvement;
  • Ability to work independently and drive things forward;
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure or AWS) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Location: Remote (Baltic States, EU)
  • Language: English
  • Engagement: Full-time
  • B2B contract till the end of the year (possibility to renew)
  • Hourly rate: 30-35 EUR
