Data Architect

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing data systems in an Azure cloud environment. You will work closely with software developers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure high data quality and deliver advanced data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related tools.
• Develop and optimize data warehouses in Azure Synapse, including dimensional modeling (star schema).
• Define and implement end-to-end data architecture for modern cloud data platforms (Azure, Snowflake).
• Administer and optimize databases, including performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and monitoring.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability through proper data cleansing, normalization, and integration.
• Implement data security best practices, including encryption, masking, and access control in Azure.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and support data-driven initiatives.
• Support analytics and data science use cases by preparing and transforming data for reporting and modeling.

Candidate Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• English level: B2+/C1.
• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure SQL/Databricks.
• Solid expertise in ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline design.
• Strong background in data warehousing and dimensional modeling (star schema).
• Proven experience in database administration (DBA): performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and security.
• Experience designing data architecture in Azure (storage, processing, security).
• Proficiency in SQL (critical) and Python for data processing and analysis.
• Knowledge of OLAP, MOLAP, and ROLAP concepts.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Familiarity with Snowflake and modern cloud data ecosystems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
