Job description

The Scheduling Coordinator supports the Traditional Surveillance department by securing investigator coverage for each surveillance file, maintaining accurate schedules, and ensuring cost‑effective resource allocation. This role collaborates closely with surveillance investigators, regional field supervisors, and case managers, and reports to the Vice President of Field Investigations.

 

This position requires strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills. The Scheduling Coordinator must monitor turnaround times, balance competing demands, and resolve scheduling conflicts to support operational goals. The role is also expected to proactively assess scheduling needs and provide dependable support to the department while demonstrating Delta’s core values of diligence, empathy, leadership, thoughtfulness, and accountability.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Monitor, assess, and prioritize scheduling needs across the department.
  • Schedule surveillance assignments in accordance with client directives and internal procedures and goals.
  • Enter and update schedules in the case management system.
  • Cultivate professional relationships with investigators, field supervisors, and case managers.
  • Communicate with investigators regarding scheduling needs, availability, and coverage changes; maintain documentation and records related to investigator availability.
  • Evaluate cost, investigator performance, turnaround time, investigator availability, geographic location, and client needs to select the most appropriate resource for each assignment.
  • Track scheduling-related data and metrics to identify workflow gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor investigator availability and usage trends and escalate potential recruiting needs.

  • Strong basic computer skills, including proficiency in email, file management, and navigating web-based platforms
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Working knowledge of surveillance investigations and operations is preferred


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience is scheduling systems.


Physical and Environmental Requirements

  • Sitting for extended periods
  • Using hands/fingers for typing, data entry, and phone usage
  • Using a computer throughout the day
  • Clear verbal and written communication


Work Schedule

  • Monday-Friday 8am-5pm EST 
  • Flexibility requirements, ensuring the scheduling is completed to meet TAT of requested dates to be scheduled.

Compensation: $40k - $50k DOE
