Job Summary:
Note: Candidates for this role must be able to work remotely within the Charlotte, NC area. This is a part time role, Mon-Fri from 8am-1pm EST,
Salary: $22/hr, 25 hours per week.
The Payroll Specialist will fulfill the following duties:
- Create work orders, utilizing the most appropriate CTI while accurately and thoroughly capturing structured data for each issue to provide audit trails and statistical analysis.
- Ability to identify inefficiencies to the existing processes within Operations and document current processes.
- Ability to understand questions/issues presented by the field managers to take full ownership of the resolution.
- Provide support to answer incoming calls during high call volume times, according to established procedures and performance standards.
- Make recommendations of process changes; provide documentation and testing to implement process changes and provide training for the team.
- Provide knowledgeable support for all payroll applications (including SAP, MySTAFF, MyRequests and other applications) and based on interactions within those applications, make recommendations for future improvements/enhancements.
- Process and respond to emails according to standard procedures.
- Process off cycle checks according to standard procedures.
- Complete necessary corrections listed on internal data audits.
- Provide customer service leadership on projects involving multiple teams within the department.
- Recognize issues or trending work orders; raise questions about the impact to others and or other applications while providing some troubleshooting and resolutions suggestions.
- Perform other team-specific tasks as assigned.
