About this role

As Application Engineer, your mission is to take charge of the necessary software engineering and application development work based on the Eureka Controller to address specific industrial applications, as well as to improve Eureka’s in-house technologies AND support the integration and deployment of our technologies into our partner’s products and applications.

You will cover a wide range of work including programming, testing, design, as well as system integration, system deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop full-fledged robotics system using the Eureka Controller in close collaboration with Eureka’s Product Team
  • Cooperate with our internal development team to develop solutions, including design, programming, testing…
  • Integrate the solutions into our partner’s product or application
  • Performing partner/system integrator/ customer support, training, demo, troubleshooting
  • Cooperate with our partners’ engineers to define the requirements and specifications of the product or application
  • Install the system on site, including: delivery, calibration, performing User Acceptance Tests, etc.
  • Perform maintenance on the installed system

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related fields (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,... with some exposure to Computer Science)
  • 1-2 years working experience in the same position
  • Familiarity with professional working process (presentation, document writing, planning, time-management)
  • Turn-key solution development experience related to IT / embedded system / AI
  • English: Fluent
  • Ability to work in a fast pace and high pressure environment
  • Honest, detail-oriented, careful, high responsibility, teamwork personality

Nice to have

  • Experience with software development process
  • Experience designing and implementing UI/UX
  • Good awareness of AI / Vision (deep learning framework and tools) / Robotics (kinematics, calibration, motion planning)
  • Familiarity with Linux software development and toolchain (e.g. git)
  • Solid background in algorithmics (proof of correctness, complexity in time and space) and mathematics (linear algebra, probability, statistics)
