Job description

About Landing

We are a nationwide hospitality platform where fully-furnished apartments meet hotel quality and consistency. Guests access a curated selection of thousands of high-quality apartments available for any length of stay in hundreds of cities nationwide.

By blending the best of hospitality and everyday comfort, every unit is designed with all the amenities of home backed by 24/7 local support. For a week-long getaway or an extended adventure, we deliver a familiar and frictionless guest experience that's perfect for any travel occasion, for work or pleasure.

For property owners, we offer a fast path to new revenue and higher occupancy in just weeks by tapping into our nationwide demand for furnished, hospitality-grade housing. We provide a turnkey solution that covers the entire unit experience, from furnishings to guest turnover and everything in between, with zero operational lift from partners. We handle it all so partners can unlock value faster.

The Role

Landing is bringing renting into the 21st century and using AI to power that vision. This team is like AI special ops — we work across every part of the business to help teams build automated solutions to real problems. We're looking for someone who's excited about finding gaps in the business, validating them with data, and prototyping solutions rapidly with AI.

Key Responsibilities

- Build internal tools and customer-facing features on top of LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, open-source models)
- Design and maintain prompt chains, RAG pipelines, and agent workflows
- Prototype rapidly — often going from idea to working demo in days, not sprints
- Evaluate model outputs, set up evals, and iterate on quality
- Wire AI into existing systems (APIs, databases, CRMs, Slack, etc.)
- Own the full stack of a feature — frontend, backend, model integration, deployment

What You'll Bring

- Demonstrable proof of using AI to create value-additive tools and products
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (function calling, streaming, embeddings, fine-tuning)
- Understanding of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector), prompt engineering patterns, and basic ML concepts
- Strong product instinct — able to talk to a non-technical stakeholder, understand the need, and build the right thing without a heavy spec
- Data-driven — willing to dig deep into the data, often creating new reporting, to find the root causes of problems that need solving
- Fluent English speaker

Nice to Have

- Experience with agent frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, Claude tool use) and eval tooling
- Willingness to relocate in the future to Birmingham, San Francisco, or Mexico City

What we offer

- Home office setup
- Dynamic, fast-moving work environment
- Continuous training and professional development opportunities
- Stable employment with a U.S. company
- Generous PTO policy
