Job Description:

We are seeking a Project Manager – Level III to support one of our Defense clients. The successful Project Manager – Level III will provide project management expertise to support mission critical projects/programs for the Military Health System. The candidate will manage projects for the network that supports DoD Medical Treatment Facilities. Additionally, assignments may be broad in nature, requiring the candidate to employ originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. The candidate should bring six or more years of progressive experience.

 

This position is primarily work from home within the San Antonio, TX or Falls Church, VA areas.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Plan, initiate, and manage IT projects that support the DoD’s medical community network
  • Manage and oversee contracting functions for hardware/software acquisition packages
  • Serve as liaison between technical subject matter experts and Program Management Office
  • Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage
  • Develop and maintain budget execution documentation for all procurements within the Division
  • Mentor junior team members on processes and procedures
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6-10 years of relevant work experience
  • PMP and ITIL v4 certifications
  • Experience organizing, tracking, and managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Excellent oral and written communication, as well as presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task to meet deadlines
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Preferred: Experience with DHA or DoD; IT Procurement and Acquisition experience
