We support 100% remote work for this role!
Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women and other marginalized folks tend to only apply when they check every box. So if you think you qualify, but don't necessarily meet every single point on the job description, please still get in touch.
As a TV, Video, Audio & Display (TVAD) Specialist, you will help build, launch, manage, and improve media campaigns across TV, audio, and display (CTV/OTT, online video, digital audio/podcasts, programmatic display). You will ensure campaigns run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with Tinuiti's standards to drive new customer and revenue growth while keeping efficiency on track. You'll support senior buyers and strategists on day-to-day execution, campaign QA, pacing, and reporting, acting as a key point of contact for internal teams (Client Leadership, cross-channel Pod teams like Search, Social, and Commerce) and external partners to keep campaign execution seamlessly on track. You will use your growing knowledge of the media marketplace and tools to turn performance data into clear, action-oriented next steps, surface issues early, and implement thoughtful optimizations.
Level and scope alignment
Level: Specialist (IC). Focuses on routine and limited non-routine work/assignments with guidance; applies acquired concepts; learns quickly; and escalates risks appropriately.
Scope: Owns defined parts of the buying, setup, stewardship, QA, pacing, and reporting processes (including research, orders/trafficking, tags, and delivery checks). Contributes to campaign planning, optimizations, partner engagement, and client updates across multiple accounts.
Key responsibilities
Support the execution and setup of media buying plans across TV, audio, and display, ensuring campaigns align with briefs and client goals.
Prepare accurate, on-time reporting inputs and weekly/monthly/QBR updates.
Support senior team members in client touchpoints by explaining performance, updates, and next steps in simple, business-friendly language.
Execute approved campaign modifications (e.g., promo dates, budgets, pacing, frequency caps) and consult management when larger adjustments are required.
Apply Tinuiti playbooks, standard SOPs, checklists, and templates for buying, negotiation support, setup, QA, and delivery checks to meet our quality bars (frequency, viewability/IVT, brand safety).
Maintain exceptionally high standards for brand safety/verification, frequency/overlap control, and compliance across all campaigns.
Build skill set around audience selection, placement/inventory quality, creative rotations, and ad formats; actively seek and apply feedback to show continuous day-to-day improvement.
Stay current on TV, video, audio, and display trends, as well as cross-channel connections (Search, Social, Commerce, Creative) through partner meetings and independent research; share learnings to inform recommendations.
Promptly escalate any campaign deviations, capture outcomes in standard readout formats, and share feedback through existing channels.
Operate buying, execution, and research platforms (DSPs, ad servers, planning tools) using standard SOPs.
Set up and rigorously QA line items, orders, tags, and pixels under the direction of Senior Buyers and leads.
Assist in evaluating new partner offerings, basic proposals, and beta features; organize information effectively so the team can decide what to test, adopt, or deprioritize.
Monitor daily/weekly campaign performance, delivery metrics (reach / frequency), and pacing. Flag anomalies, under-delivery, or issues (e.g., viewability/IVT) alongside possible next steps to Senior Buyers and Strategists.
Pull and QA data to build accurate recurring reports and analyses, translating metrics into clear, actionable internal updates.
Run A/B tests with clear hypotheses and concise readouts.
Love Growth: Propose and test data-backed optimizations (e.g., creative rotations, audience refinements, placement tweaks), monitoring initial results closely before suggesting a wider rollout. Document actions and learnings to support process improvements.
Hate Waste: Utilize strict checklists and QA processes to eliminate avoidable rework, catch errors before launch, prevent over/under-delivery, and minimize non-converting spend, non-viewable/IVT exposure, or audience overlap.
Maintain a clear to-do list, meet tight deadlines, independently confirm when work is completed, and close the loop by noting both the fix and the outcome.
Special Projects: Invest time in project-based work (e.g., updating rate cards, cleaning domain lists, refining QA templates) to optimize how the department functions with clients and partners.

Efficiency (Guardrail): Keeping buys strictly within agreed cost, quality, and brand-safety parameters while maintaining or improving CPx/CAC/ROAS and delivering against plan volume.
