Job description

Title: Claims Contract Attorney
Job #: 9420-1
Location: 100% remote
Duration: 6+ month contract

Candidate must provide their own equipment.

We have an immediate need for attorneys who will be critical members of a project team responsible for handling product liability class action litigation and mass tort matters. These are not eDiscovery document review positions.

Job Responsibilities:
The attorneys will perform various duties including but not limited to:
· Analyzing claim documents
· Preparing detailed responses to sometimes complex written inquiries of claimants and counsel
· Fielding sometimes complex telephone inquiries from claimants and counsel
· Receiving training, direction and oversight from project directors, project managers, project co-ordinators, and/or other project team members
· "Best-in-class” customer service is expected to be provided to both internal and external clients. The highest levels of professionalism, responsiveness and quality of work are required.

Qualifications:
· JD from an accredited U.S. law school (foreign law degree may suffice)
· Active license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
· Litigation experience preferred
· Class action and/or mass tort experience a plus
· Attention to detail
· Ability to multi-task
· Flexibility
· Customer service approach
