Location: Remote (EU). EU candidates only.

DESCRIPTION:

The Refresh Project Manager / Technical Lead is a senior delivery role responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of complex infrastructure refresh initiatives within a large-scale transformation programme. The position combines project management and technical leadership, requiring strong expertise in x86 architectures, operating systems, databases, middleware, and legacy environments. The role ensures delivery alignment with strategic objectives, governance frameworks, financial controls, and operational excellence while coordinating closely with DXC and Business Units. It oversees all delivery phases, from scoping and planning through deployment and service transition, ensuring high standards of documentation, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and reporting across distributed teams.

Description of the tasks:

· Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure refresh initiatives, including scoping, planning, requirements definition, testing, deployment, and service transition.

· Coordinate project execution with DXC, Business Units, and technical stakeholders.

· Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including milestones, timelines, dependencies, and progress tracking.

· Monitor and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations throughout the project lifecycle.

· Ensure effective governance across all workstreams and compliance with programme delivery standards.

· Oversee financial control aspects, ensuring delivery within approved scope, budget, and timelines.

· Produce and maintain high-quality project documentation, including RAID logs, status reports, and delivery metrics.

· Drive stakeholder communication, alignment, and reporting across distributed teams.

· Support continuous improvement of delivery practices, governance processes, and financial management.

Knowledge and skills:

· Strong technical background in x86 architectures, operating systems, databases, middleware, and legacy environments.

· Solid knowledge of database technologies.

· Proven experience managing complex transformation programmes and large-scale infrastructure projects.

· Experience implementing multi-process technology solutions in enterprise environments.

· Strong understanding of end-to-end project delivery methodologies, including planning, testing, deployment, and service transition.

· Experience applying governance frameworks, risk management, and dependency tracking.

· Strong financial management and programme budgeting awareness.

· Excellent stakeholder management, communication, decision-making, planning, organisation, and execution skills.

· Ability to lead initiatives independently while coordinating cross-functional and distributed teams.

Location:

· Remote (EU).

Rate:

· 350-365€/day.
