International Marine Service Engineer

About the job

You are responsible to perform maintenance and commissioning services on board of ships.
 

  • Follow safety procedures and report unsafe practices & incidents.
  • Show deep product knowledge of the key product line(s).
  • Prepare the service job for efficient execution, based on the SOP of the job.
  • Travel to service jobs on board vessels, including international travel. Sail with the vessel if needed.
  • Execute maintenance, repair, advanced troubleshooting, commissioning or other services.
  • Document work and conclusions while on board and get service report signed by the customer.
  • Identify potential improvements incl. sales leads, give advice to customer and pass information on to own organization. Give input on SOP improvements.
  • Provide formal training to peers and customers; assist in developing of training material and content.

  • Technical MBO+ or Bachelor degree with mechanical/electrical knowledge.
  • Basic knowledge of PLC techniques, process-, measuring- and control technology;
