Shift Timings: We have two shifts in this, [Early Morning or Evening, 6 days per week, mid-week off]
Salary: Rs. 4 - Rs. 7 LPA (Based on experience and selection process)

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and editorially driven Video Producer to own the entire video production lifecycle—from identifying compelling stories and writing scripts to overseeing production and optimizing performance. The ideal candidate understands what makes content shareable, has strong storytelling instincts, and knows how to create videos that engage audiences across digital and social platforms.


Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and validate trending, viral, and human-interest stories with strong audience potential.

  • Develop compelling story angles, write engaging headlines, hooks, and scripts, and structure narratives for maximum audience retention.

  • Lead the creative direction of videos by guiding editing, pacing, music, captions, subtitles, and overall storytelling quality.

  • Optimize thumbnails, titles, and video packaging to improve engagement and platform performance.

  • Monitor video performance, analyze audience insights, and apply learnings to future content while staying updated on industry trends and competitor strategies.

  • Collaborate with editors, designers, voice-over artists, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality videos on deadline.

  • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and other productivity tools to support research, scripting, ideation, and content optimization.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high editorial standards and meeting publishing deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, English, Communications, or a related field.

  • Excellent research, editorial judgment, and storytelling abilities.

  • Working knowledge of video production workflows and basic video editing software.

  • Strong understanding of digital publishing, social media platforms, and audience engagement.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven newsroom environment.

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a remote team.
