About the Role 

Activated Insights is seeking an experienced and strategic Principal Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and commercial success of a major product portfolio.  

As a Principal Product Manager, you will serve as a senior individual contributor responsible for identifying market opportunities, understanding customer needs, and translating those insights into products that deliver measurable business value. You will partner closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and executive stakeholders to ensure product investments align with company strategy and customer demand. 

Using the Pragmatic Institute framework, you will guide products through the entire lifecycle—from market discovery and business case development to pricing, positioning, launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and requires the ability to influence decisions across teams without direct authority. 

What You'll Do 

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for a major product portfolio.  

  • Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to identify opportunities and prioritize investments.  

  • Develop business cases supported by customer insights, market data, and financial analysis.  

  • Define product requirements and partner with Engineering to deliver high-value solutions.  

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to develop pricing, positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans.  

  • Support strategic customer conversations and sales opportunities by serving as a product subject matter expert.  

  • Monitor product performance using adoption, revenue, retention, and customer satisfaction metrics, and recommend improvements based on data. 

  • Apply the Pragmatic Institute framework to drive product decisions throughout the product lifecycle.  

  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships to align priorities and deliver successful product outcomes.  

  • Share product management with best practices and provide guidance to peers when appropriate.
