ZBiotics is hiring its first dedicated hospitality leader to build our on-premise channel from the ground up.
We’ve seen strong early proof that hospitality — bars, restaurants, hotels, nightlife groups, and tastemaker venues — can become both a meaningful revenue channel and one of our most powerful brand engines. Pre-Alcohol belongs in the places and moments people plan their nights around. The right accounts don’t just drive volume; they create credibility, cultural relevance, and awareness that compounds across every other channel.
We’re not trying to be everywhere. We’re trying to show up in the places that matter. With early wins in marquee accounts, we’ve validated the opportunity. Now we’re ready to scale it with dedicated ownership.
You’ll own the channel number from day one: building the pipeline, closing priority accounts, securing menu placements, earning buy-in from operators and staff, managing reorders, and expanding successful accounts into multi-location opportunities. The role starts hands-on in the field, personally landing the accounts that set the standard, then building the ambassador network and playbook to scale across priority markets.

In 2019, we launched the world’s first genetically engineered probiotic: ZBiotics® Pre-Alcohol, a 14mL probiotic drink designed to break down an alcohol byproduct that leads to rough mornings after drinking. Since then, ZBiotics’ business has continued to grow rapidly year over year. We’ve sold over 10 million bottles of Pre-Alcohol, with over half those bottles coming in 2025 alone. And in 2024, we launched our second product: ZBiotics® Sugar-to-Fiber, a genetically engineered probiotic that creates fiber from the sugar you already eat, contributing to microbiome health.
ZBiotics is headquartered in San Francisco and backed by venture investors including Y Combinator, Spring Tide Capital, and Khosla Ventures, among others.

This role is for a sales-driven leader who knows how hospitality works and how to turn relationships, their own and their team's, into measurable commercial outcomes. You're credible in the field, persistent with follow-up, and energized by building a team and a channel from the ground up.

The base salary for this position ranges between $150,000–$165,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
Location: New York City strongly preferred; candidates living in Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami or San Francisco are also encouraged to apply. Regular travel required.
