What will you do?

As a District Manager, you will lead a portfolio of stores to deliver exceptional customer experience, drive operational excellence, and achieve business goals. You will be responsible for developing high-performing store leadership teams, executing brand strategies, and ensuring that each store reflects the values and culture of the brand. Your leadership will directly impact profitability, customer satisfaction, and team engagement across your district. This role is ideal for a strategic, people-first leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-unit retail environment and is passionate about building inclusive, high-performing teams. 

  • Maximize district profitability by setting clear direction and supporting stores in achieving sales, expense, and inventory goals.
  • Recruit, hire, and retain diverse, high-caliber talent; ensure stores optimally staffed and succession plans are in place.
  • Ensures all Store Managers are consistently trained and developed, conducting regular training sessions and check-ins on a quarterly basis to reinforce operational standards, leadership competencies, and brand expectations. Partner with HR and Talent Development  teams to identify training needs and track progress across the district.
  • Partner with corporate teams (Retail Operations, HR, Visual Merchandising.) to execute brand strategies and initiatives.
  • Conduct regular store visits, audits to ensure compliance with brand standards and policies.
  • Champion customer service by modeling brand-specific service standards and addressing customer feedback promptly.
  • Oversee annual Performance Appraisal process, Personal Development Plans, and succession planning; provide support and guidance to the store managers on these processes.   
  • Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation align with brand guidelines and elevate the customer experience.
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, creativity, and continuous improvement by sharing best practices and encouraging collaboration.
  • Maintain compliance with all loss prevention, safety, and operational policies and procedures.
  • Represent the brand with integrity and professionalism in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

  

What do you need to succeed?

We all bring unique skills to work each day. For this role, there are foundational skills needed to succeed, Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in the apparel, footwear, related retail industry, including multi-store management and training responsibilities. Must demonstrate proven people leadership experience, with a track record of developing and leading high-performing teams across multiple locations. A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in total experience and professional achievements. 

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

  • Extensive multi-store management experience in apparel, footwear, related industries. 
  • Proven ability to exceed sales targets and manage expenses effectively. 
  • Strong ability to plan, execute, and analyze solutions to complex business challenges. 
  • Exceptional skills in interpreting data and driving performance through insights. 
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing expenses effectively. 
  • Effective in making sound decisions quickly in fast-paced environments. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Hiring Range:

$112,000.00 USD - $140,000.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
